Luis Marrero was the speaker for our December speaker/workshop session. Luis worked with us to define our “Meaningful Purpose.” All the attendees found the workshop extremely valuable. As we do at all meetings we processed a number of issues our members needed help with – different perceptions/perspectives.
January was a time to reflect on 2010’s accomplishments and shortfalls. Each member shared with the Group their personal and business goals for 2011. As a Group we are committed to holding each other accountable through a process we call “Carefrontation.” Carefrontation is challenging a member’s course of action, and decisions in a caring, knowledgeable manner.
In February we will be sharing Universal Aviation’s human resources best practices and learn more about their recent Organization Excellence Award Presentation – “The Trip.” In March Dr. Gerry Faust visits us to conduct a speaker/workshop session on “MANAGEMENT ROLES AND ORGANIZATIONAL LIFE CYCLES.” In April are speaker/workshop session is titled “ASPIRE – How to get more of what you want now,” and May is an ALL CITY meeting where all CEO, Key and Small Business members gather for breakfast, a Keynote speaker, lunch, executive sessions, and a cocktail/networking hour.
